STEWARDSHIP / CHURCH FUND ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE

See the funds.
Follow the financial story.

Harbor’s church fund accounting tools bring designated funds, bookkeeping entries and bank registers into the church workspace. Authorized finance users can manage records with a history of financial changes and clear separation from ordinary member access.

01

Organize money by purpose

Create unrestricted and restricted funds, maintain a chart of accounts and record balanced ledger entries. Keep the intended purpose visible alongside the financial record.

02

Manage bank registers

Set up bank accounts as accounting records, enter deposits and withdrawals, and reconcile recorded activity against bank statements. Save reconciliation progress before completing it.

03

Preserve the trail of changes

Posted transactions retain their history. Corrections use the supported reversal workflow, and financial activity includes the information needed to review who changed what.

A PRACTICAL WORKFLOW

Bring bookkeeping into the same workspace.

Harbor includes tools for accounts payable, accounts receivable, fund transfers, reconciliation and payroll records. Financial permissions control access to giving records and reports. Payroll administration requires an additional payroll permission, helping the owner keep sensitive responsibilities with the right people.

  1. 01

    Prepare

Set up the funds, accounts and bank registers your church needs.

  2. 02

    Organize

Enter or import reviewed opening balances and transactions.

  3. 03

    Review

Reconcile statement activity and review financial reports.

Know the current scope

Bank accounts are bookkeeping registers, not live bank connections. Harbor does not sync directly with banks, move money, file taxes or provide accounting advice. Your church should have its accountant review setup and reports.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Know what
you’re getting.

Have a different question?
We’d be glad to help

Does Harbor connect directly to our bank?

Not currently. The bank register and reconciliation workflow use recorded or imported activity and your bank statements.

Can we track restricted church funds?

Yes. Create restricted or unrestricted funds and record transactions against the appropriate fund.

Can ordinary staff see financial reports?

Only the owner and staff granted financial permissions can access administrative financial records and reports. Payroll requires additional permission.
